The Lockheed Martin Space Human Resources team provides strategic human capital support that aligns with the key priorities of the business. This HR Business Partner (HRBP) position will provide HR guidance and support to a portion of the Space Engineering & Technology (E&T) organization.

This is a fast paced and dynamic Engineering Human Resources role that provides strategic human capital support that aligns with the Engineering organization's strategic initiatives, including:
• Enabling Affordability & Efficiency
• Driving use of Standard Products & Common Design
• Positioning our Products & Workforce for the Future
• Executing on Programs and Reducing Engineering Errors

The HR Business Partner will be a champion of Lockheed Martin's culture and values, partnering with our business leaders on strategic human capital initiatives. This requires data analysis and the development of innovative solutions to support and execute Lockheed Martin's Human Capital Strategy.

Responsibilities include:
• Provide strategic and sustainable human capital solutions aligned to the corporate strategy, including:
• Salary Management Planning
• Total Rewards & Performance Management
• Talent Management Planning and Analysis
• Employee Relations & Coaching
• Workforce Planning & Management
• HR Metrics Compilation and Reporting
• Learning & Development Planning and Analysis

Success means:
As a consultant to leadership, employees and cross-functional groups a successful HR Business Partner will provide HR support to accomplish client, organizational and corporate objectives. Utilizing project management skills from design through implementation and sustainment, successful candidates will deliver value-added HR initiatives to clients in support of the business.

Position pending final budget approval.
Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years of previous Human Resources Business Partner or HR Functional Experience in areas such as Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Workforce Strategy, Talent Management, Organizational Development, and Labor Relations
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects through part of the lifecycle (design, develop, and/or implement)
• Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust style as needed to develop effective relationships with all levels of leadership, employees, and peers locally and virtually
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel, including the ability to develop and analyze metrics
• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• Ability to travel to other geographic sites as needed
Desired Skills:
• Experience in Organizational Development, Leadership Coaching, Workforce Planning and Management, Compensation, and/or Project Management
• Analytical skills and ability to present solutions to issues in a concise manner to varying levels of leadership
• Must demonstrate strong decision making and judgment, oral and written communication, business acumen skills
• SHRM or PHR certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $61,300 - $117,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $70,500 - $132,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
