The Role:
We are looking for a strategic and data-driven HR Business Partner to support our growing US team. A strategic thought partner to executive leadership on all things Human Resources, the HRBP will be responsible for overseeing all areas of HR including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, employee development, compensation, benefits, and strategic HR planning. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, possessing a proven record of taking initiative and solving problems within a fast-paced environment. The HRBP will be comfortable alternating between high-level strategy supporting senior leadership and day-to-day tactical advice to staff and managers. The HRBP will also be passionate about fostering strong relationships and building an engaged culture through innovative programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically create and deliver HR programs and policies for our US based teams ensuring alignment with ispace Corporate HR objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, managers, and staff to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing/recruiting, employee development, and retention.
- Work closely with managers within the organization providing sound HR advice and judgment on all people-related matters.
- Coach managers on performance related matters, identifying growth opportunities and supporting the team with leadership training and/or executive coaching.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Identify needs, develop, and deploy training for various functions of the business including individual executive coaching needs.
- Own, run, and optimize HR processes - including but not limited to, compensation & promotion, performance management, goal setting, benefits administration, employee engagement action planning, hybrid work policies and headcount planning.
- Manage and oversee the daily workflow of the HR department.
- Own and manage the HR departmental budget.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of experience in Human Resources management
- Extensive experience and knowledge of various areas of HR including: talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, employee development, and compensation & benefits
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related field
- SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-CP preferred
- Schedule may vary depending on program development needs; flexibility required
Required Skills:

- Strong HR strategy experience, including experience creating and delivering HR programs and policies
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

- Strong competency in MS Office Suite including Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook
Desired skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology company/startup
- SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-CP
- Strong leadership training/executive coaching experience
- Succession planning/career pathing experience
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary starting at $130k+ dependent upon background and experience level
