Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of Programs. Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers. Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP). Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies. Leads supply chain Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, EVMS, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution. Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • The candidate should possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized
  • The candidate should have experience in cross functional facilitation to accomplish critical tasks
  • Lead and train employees with best practices of EVMS
  • Can quickly identify and communicate risk and opportunity through data analysis
  • Have a clear understanding of established processes and procedures
  • Possess the ability to align team goals to Sector and Division objectives
  • Effectively manage a supply base, delivery performance, and delivery management strategy
  • Develop and maintain Strategic Supplier relationships
  • Experience working and collaborating in a production environment and engagement with manufacturing teams

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, or resource planning OR a Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of experience in supply chain management, project management or resource planning OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 9 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, resource planning
  • Must have 3 year of experience leading others, supervisory, project or team leadership
  • Must have 3 years of supplier management experience
  • Must have high level knowledge of Material CAM; EVMS Certified
  • Must have experience collaborating with Global Supply Chain Program Leadership and Program Management Leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Masters in Supply Chain Management
  • Leadership development certification
  • Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating core values of company
  • Project Management experience with a clear understanding of establishing and maintaining schedules
  • Experience building and/or leading teams, interacting with multifunctional roles/department

Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
