Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking an experienced Principal Systems Engineer in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting our Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support a program out of our Aurora, CO office.
Position Overview:
- Segment level systems engineer knowledgeable in the inner workings of Servo with full lifecycle systems engineering, integration, and test experience
- Key attribute is ability to problem solve and diagnose integration issues as part of larger verification campaign.
This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with Counter-Intelligence (CI) polygraph (Poly) security clearance at the time of application
- For the Principal you must have a completed STEM degree with below years of experience in systems engineering [a degree in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics]
- 5 Years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's (STEM)
- 3 Years of relevant experience with a completed Masters's (STEM)
- 1 Years of relevant experience with a completed Ph.D. (STEM)
- Must have experience on all of the below:
- Experience with requirements development, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment-level test procedures
- Experience working on Agile programs and methodology
- Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Experience with Cameo and DOORS
- Strong written and oral communications skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, Linux, Robot Automated Testing, Kubernetes, C++
