This role is responsible for ensuring alignment between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems to ensure seamless integration, optimization, and security of critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both IT and OT environments, with the ability to manage and support the technology that powers operational systems such as industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, and IIoT devices.
The IT/OT Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, IT, Manufacturing) to ensure that both IT and OT systems are aligned with organizational goals, ensuring that operational processes run efficiently, securely, and within regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Integration & Support:
- Support day-to-day OT operations by providing technical support for OT systems and applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system uptime.
- Process incoming request for new equipment acquisition to ensure the selection meets the pre-established criteria for secure and smooth integration to the OT ecosystem

2. Cybersecurity & Compliance:
- Implement and maintain security protocols for OT systems to protect against cybersecurity threats.
- Ensure OT systems comply with internal policies.

3.System Monitoring & Performance:
- Monitor the performance of OT systems to ensure they are operating at optimal levels.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and configuration changes as necessary to maintain security and performance.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for operational improvements through automation and data analytics.

4. Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the single point of contact for Manufacturing and Engineering clients and ensure alignment between IT and the OT team
- Support the development of OT-related documentation, including system architecture diagrams, process flows, and troubleshooting guides.

5. Project Management & Implementation:
- Lead or participate in OT-related projects, from design and planning through implementation and testing.
- Manage the implementation of new OT technologies and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

6. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from OT systems to provide actionable insights that drive improvements.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, uptime, and security metrics for stakeholders.

Minimum required Qualifications:
• Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with OT technologies, including SCADA, PLCs, industrial IoT devices, and monitoring systems.
- Understanding of primary enterprise applications such as ERP, MES, PLM and Quality
- Strong understanding of IT systems, networking, databases, and cloud-based platforms.
- Understanding of cybersecurity tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM).
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and processes in an enterprise setting
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts
- IT networking knowledge including TCP/IP, Firewall and VLANs functionalities

Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
3+ years of experience in IT/OT operations or related field. A combination of other pertinent education/experience could be considered.

Linguistic Level:
Knowledge of French and English is essential spoken and written (Works in the technical support center, answering calls from English-speaking employees).

 

Comments/Special Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the SECRET status level II, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
