also driving a positive impact here on Earth. We are seeking an HR Generalist to help us create the future of lunar

surface mobility in a fast-paced startup environment.


As the HR Generalist, you will provide operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle—recruiting,

onboarding, benefits, compliance, and culture. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and

wants broad exposure to HR strategy and execution.


Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Maintain and post job openings, manage the applicant tracking system, and coordinate interviews

• Assist with writing job descriptions, preparing offer letters, and pre-hire paperwork

• Help plan and lead new hire orientations

HR Operations & Systems

• Assist in maintaining accurate employee records in BambooHR and ensure data integrity

• Assist in audits, reports, and compliance tasks

• Support benefits administration including enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee questions

• Help with offboarding tasks like termination paperwork, COBRA coordination, and exit interviews

Performance, Culture, and Development

• Coordinate logistics for performance reviews and training sessions

• Support employee engagement efforts and recognition programs

• Help draft and update policies, procedures, and employee communications

• Partner on internal initiatives and new programs that support the employee experience

• Partner on training initiatives through the internal training platform 

Compliance & Leave Management

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies

• Track and document employee leaves (e.g., FMLA, FAMLI, ADA) and assist with communications and

documentation

• Help manage safety and workplace compliance initiatives



Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, onboarding, or HR

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Strong understanding of employment laws and hiring best practices

• Experience using an HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, etc.)

• Ability to exercise discretion with respect to confidential or sensitive information

• Team oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management software


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a startup, tech, or aerospace environment

• SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification
