  • You solve structural mechanics problems, including calculation of dynamic, static and shock loads using analysis and test.
  • You build Finite-Element-Models and perform dynamic, static analyses.
  • You use Structural Optimization as a tool to meet challenging cost, weight, and size constraints.
  • You analyze, judge, and drive the thermoelastic behavior of the laser terminals.
  • You break-down of top-level performance requirements to the subsystems in cooperation with Systems Engineering, to balance the structural, thermal, and optical requirements.
  • You provide expertise and guidance for the mechanical design team in the development and verification process.
  • You implement and improve best practices within the engineering development.
