DARC is a global network of three next-generation ground sensors, based in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Together, they will deliver a unique 24/7 all-weather capability, tracking objects in geosynchronous orbit - a testament to Northrop Grumman’s commitment to enhancing security and safety in deep space on a global scale.
Your Role
The DARC Operations and Maintenance Team Lead (TL) is responsible for the on-shift Operation and Maintenance Field Tech team and tactical planning/coordination of activities with the NGC On Site Lead (OSL) and other DARC stakeholders.
This includes, but is not limited to, providing on shift leadership of the O&M team, contractual oversight of suppliers and subcontractors engaged to provide services on DS1 (which may extend beyond O&M if requested), actual maintenance activities on plant/equipment, and leadership support to the NG DARC team.
About You
Bachelor of Engineering (or 5 years equivalent working experience in a technical role)
Hands on experience maintaining diesel power generators
Understanding and experience with diesel power generators and electrical systems
Team leadership experience
