Job Description Summary

As an IT Operations Specialist, your primary role will be to provide technical services to internal customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with desktop, laptop, rack mounted server and storage devices and networked systems. You will ensure that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved. You must be able to troubleshoot and solve a range of datacenter infrastructure issues including, but not limited to, hardware copper and fiber related problems.

Now is your chance to amplify your impact, working to solve the world’s most pressing challenges. We are hiring immediately for an Endpoint Administrator/Data Center Technician that holds an active Security Clearance (minimum Secret, Top Secret preferred) for our Longmont, CO office.

What you will do day to day:

  • Ensure that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved.
  • Installation of servers, storage and network gear into server racks.
  • Tracking and labeling of all connections and assets in all IT spaces as well as data centers.
  • Monitor tickets & workflows and in accordance with team’s SLAs.
  • Create documentation where documentation is absent.
  • Administer Active Directory accounts.
  • Troubleshoots Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Support.
  • Utilize remote user support tools to provide support.
  • Provide M/S applications support (Exchange/Outlook, Office, Visio, etc.).
  • Perform (advanced) Windows 11, MAC OS troubleshooting.
  • Perform (basic) Linux troubleshooting.
  • Provide Service Desk escalations.
  • Perform physical hardware setup and tear down.
  • Image systems and deploy software through SCCM.
  • Provide rotational on-call support.
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients.
  • Maintain a high level of customer-service in all situations.
  • Minimum 4 days onsite required.

Required Skills:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in technical support role
    • Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Windows 10, MAC OS, iOS, Android, Office 2016 and 0365 suite, Active Directory Administration, Citrix and Virtual PC environments or a combination of.
  • Experience with structure cabling installation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with servers and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to be on call on a rotational basis.

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Active CI Polygraph
  • Active Security+ certification
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
  • Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company.
  • Experience with SharePoint. 
  • Experience with Visio.

Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, and Washington:

$53,000.00 - $114,000.00 annually.
