Job description
ReOrbit is seeking an experienced Head of Facilities to lead the strategic delivery, management, and operational oversight of our expanding infrastructure. This critical role covers clean rooms, laboratories, production floors, and office environments, supporting the backbone of our growing space technology operations.
As our Head of Facilities, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of satellite production. You’ll have the unique opportunity to design and implement a brand-new small GEO satellite production line from the ground up, working alongside a highly skilled team while managing a wide-ranging portfolio of initiatives.
We're looking for a results-driven leader with a strong background in high-tech or aerospace environments. The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in facilities management, operational planning, and project execution, with the ability to scale systems in a fast-paced, innovation-driven company.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities strategy aligned with company growth and technical requirements.
- Ensure regular maintenance and optimal functioning of all building systems with particular attention to clean room standards and lab safety.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget,
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary facilities team including engineers, technicians, and administrative support.
- Oversee site security systems and protocols, develop and maintain business continuity plans for facility-related disruptions, and serve as key contact during emergencies and critical infrastructure issues.
Skills and Requirements
- 10+ years of facilities management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within aerospace, semiconductor, biotech, or similar regulated industry.
- Proven experience managing clean rooms, labs, and manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and compliance requirements.
- PMP, CFM, or other relevant certifications a plus.
