We are seeking an IT Systems & Operations Specialist, based in Luxembourg, to support our globally distributed team and help manage the systems that power our operations. This individual will play a key role in enabling a productive, stable, and well-supported remote workforce by maintaining endpoint systems, automating onboarding workflows, managing collaboration tools, and providing responsive IT support across multiple platforms and time zones.

This is a hands-on, generalist IT role ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, improving internal tooling, and contributing to a secure, seamless user experience in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

  • Provide first-line IT support to employees across the organization, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and access-related issues.
  • Manage user lifecycle operations via Rippling, including onboarding, offboarding, and changes across tools like Slack, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), JIRA, and other SaaS platforms.
  • Maintain and support a diverse device fleet including Windows, macOS, and Linux laptops, ensuring consistent patching, performance, and access management.
  • Coordinate remote support sessions, device provisioning, and technical troubleshooting for globally distributed team members.
  • Maintain visibility into endpoint health and ensure device hygiene using SentinelOne and other administrative tools.
  • Assist with integration and administration of enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms such as Slack, Teams, Zoom, and Google Workspace (as applicable).
  • Manage asset inventory, license tracking, and IT documentation to support internal controls and system audits.
  • Support internal process improvements for IT workflows, including scripting and light automation where applicable.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and security teams to ensure alignment with Hydrosat’s technology policies and compliance goals (e.g., NIST 800-171).

Requirements

  • Based in Luxembourg, with eligibility to work in the EU.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, help desk operations, or systems administration in a hybrid or remote-first environment.
  • Familiarity supporting and troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience managing accounts and settings in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Box, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Strong knowledge of Slack, Zoom, and remote collaboration tool support.
  • Ability to manage SaaS tools and handle IT onboarding/offboarding in platforms like Rippling or similar IAM tools.
  • Proficiency in managing support tickets and workflows using tools such as JIRA or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, a service mindset, and ability to work independently across time zones.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving systems and priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting remote-first or globally distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., Rippling, SentinelOne).
  • Exposure to compliance environments such as NIST 800-171, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
  • Familiarity with AWS service administration, including IAM, EC2, and basic networking or access troubleshooting.
  • Experience writing internal documentation or user guides.
  • Scripting or automation experience in PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with incident response best practices, including basic procedures for identifying, documenting, and escalating security events.

Benefits

  • Attractive compensation package
  • Equity through stock option plan – be part of our long-term success
  • Fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with real impact and ownership
  • Hybrid work model – 1 remote day per week
  • Work-from-anywhere flexibility – up to 2 weeks per year
