We are looking for you to join our team as an Environmental Test Engineer in Woodland Hills, CA. As an Environmental Test Engineer at Northrop Grumman, you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Dynamic Climatic Electromagnetic engineering test team. What You’ll get to Do:

  • Develop and implement environmental test plans and procedures.
  • Carry out environmental tests such as temperature, humidity, vibration, and shock efforts.
  • Analyze test results and craft detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to incorporate environmental factors into product development.
  • Custodian calibration duties for test equipment for Metrology.
  • Stay abreast of industry changes and advancements in environmental testing methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with a Bachelors; 0 years of experience with Masters
  • Proficient in using testing equipment and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems
  • Experience with Thermotron 8800 controllers
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of vibration testing
  • Team player with a collaborative approach to work.
  • Extensive Knowledge of MIL-STD-810G.

This position in contingent upon clearance.

Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
