Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineer Systems to support a program out of our Aurora, CO location.

Position Overview:

This position requires multidiscipline knowledge in all areas related to systems engineering including systems design, modeling, requirements development and mapping, and integration and test.
Diplomatically interface with all levels of management, employees, internal and external customers, and vendors

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of relevant experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years of relevant experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance is required at time of application.
General knowledge of ground segment architecture
Experience using Jira and Agile processes during day-to-day work
Ability to create, review, and update requirements in DOORs
Ability to create engineering products using MBSE tools such as Cameo
Experience throughout systems engineering lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with prototype or early demonstration efforts
Experience with full TCPED
Experience with Agile and waterfall development
Understanding of satcom, wide area network, and cross domain concepts
Ability to integrate into a team that spans multiple sites and multiple IPTs.
Scrum Master experience

Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
