Intuitive Machines is seeking an Operations Specialist II to support our new Data Services business. Excellent benefits are active on first day of employment.
Job Summary:
The Operations Specialist is responsible for accelerating outcomes of the daily operations of Intuitive Machines. The individual will support execution of business operations and organizational growth by supporting the Senior Vice President of Data Services in managing a portfolio of projects and initiatives. In this capacity, the individual will work closely with employees of all levels across the organization, supporting collaboration with other company executives and functional leaders as required. The Operations Specialist will also support schedule, meeting and travel coordination, and/or the fulfillment of key forms and activities necessary to support our Data Services programs and workforce in honoring contract obligations, as necessary.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Organizes business meetings and events, supporting their structure and flow, contributing to agenda topics, capturing/managing action items, and handling the collection and organization of meeting inputs.
- Coordinate schedules of leaders across the Data Services business unit, ensuring deliverables are met timely and information is flowing smoothly, internally and externally
- Manage travel and expense needs for the SVP, Data Services and other key leaders in the BU, coordinating large trips and events for the team when needed
- Support organization of key documentation and filing for the business needs, ensuring both compliance and efficiency in execution
- Coordinate with Business Manager, Accounts Payable, IT and other functional departments at IM HQ to ensure lifecycle of procurement, invoicing and billing, etc. are running efficiently
- Help track and report on key performance indicators and metrics that measure team and BU performance
- Make general, office and project purchases as needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Host key events and customer meetings for the team, championing IM culture and values both internally and externally
- Other duties as assigned – position is primed for growth with the business
Experience/Education/Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following prerequisite skills and qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of experience working closely with executives and highly skilled talent in to deliver solutions in an adaptive, fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and handle executive matters with discretion, ranging from calendar and schedule management, conference calls, video conferences, company events, travel arrangements and expense reimbursements to highly sensitive, timebound customer-facing administrative activities
- Culture champion – demonstrating ability to work with all levels of personnel from early career professionals to senior executives
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable navigating complexity - highly resourceful and self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools (i.e. Teams and Sharepoint).
- Support of Government Services and/or Federal Contracting business preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Travel 25%, as needed to support initiatives
