About GITAI:

Humanity has been developing horizontally on Earth, but we believe now is the time to expand vertically. With the decreasing costs of space access, the possibilities for exploration and utilization of space are expanding exponentially. At GITAI, we are at the cutting edge of this vertical development, providing the robotic technologies that enable safe and affordable labor in space. Our space robot solution reduces the operational cost in space by 100 times and will make sustained human presence and activity in space a reality.

 

About the Role:

As Head of Strategic Initiatives, you will work directly with the CEO to drive mission-critical projects across fundraising, investor relations, strategic partnerships, and internal operations. You will play a central role in shaping GITAI’s growth strategy and external presence. This is a highly cross-functional position with significant exposure to executive-level decision-making.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives tied to growth, fundraising, and investor engagement
  • Lead the fundraising process: build pitch decks, manage the data room, and coordinate investor communication and due diligence
  • Identify, approach, and maintain relationships with venture capitalists, corporate investors, and government agencies
  • Collaborate with finance and product teams to define and track company-level KPIs and business forecasts
  • Explore new opportunities for strategic partnerships or government collaboration
  • Support strategic planning, and internal initiatives that fall outside traditional org structures
  • Act as a high-leverage generalist contributing across business, finance, and corporate development functions

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Prior startup experience in a strategic or investor-facing role; founder experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of closing Seed to Series B fundraising rounds
  • Strong command of storytelling, pitch writing, and investor messaging
  • Financial modeling proficiency; experience working with metrics, runway planning, or capital strategy
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, wear multiple hats, and operate with a high degree of ownership
  • Interest or experience in the space, robotics, or defense sectors

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time including to stakeholders locations.

Salary

  • $140,000/yr - $165,000/yr

Compensation includes both salary and potential equity, and may be adjusted based on the candidate’s experience and skillset.

$140,000$165,000 USD
