Cybersecurity Summer Intern

We are hiring for a Cybersecurity Summer Intern 

Your Career 

The right candidate for this role is collaborative, inquisitive, adaptive, flexible, service focused and willing and able to learn quickly.  The position has the flexibility to work in the office, work from home, or a combination.  

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

Work closely with Cybersecurity team members to detect and respond to security incidents

Deploy and manage cybersecurity tools across the network

Conduct research on security vulnerabilities and assess their impact on Maxar

Investigate threat actors and analyze how they may be probing Maxar systems

Develop code to identify security anomalies within data sets

Document and report your findings through written analysis

Minimum Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field with a demonstrated interest in Cybersecurity

GPA of 3.75 or higher

Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or an equivalent

Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications

Solid communication and writing abilities
