Test Operator

AST SpaceMobile and our global partners are building the first and only space-based cellular broadband network to be accessible by standard smartphones. Called SpaceMobile, this ultra-powerful network is being designed to provide connectivity at 4G/5G speeds everywhere on the planet – on land, at sea and in flight.

 

Summary:

As a Test Operator, you will assist in performing electrical and environmental tests on satellites and satellite subsystems under close supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute basic test procedures under direct supervision

• Assist in setup and operation of standard test equipment
• Record and report test data accurately
• Support basic troubleshooting under guidance
• Follow ESD, cleanroom, and safety protocols at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of test areas and equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 0–1 years of relevant experience or recent technical/vocational training
• Basic understanding of electronics or test equipment (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working in a structured and regulated environment
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
