We’re on the hunt for an Engineering Student, Systems Design (Project Engineering) at our Brampton office. 

Overall the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date. This is a 12 month term starting in September 2025.

As an Engineering Student, you will work together with senior program managers and project engineers on space and planetary exploration robotic projects as well as departmental continuous improvement initiatives and process improvements.


Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and scheduling
  • Monitoring project cost
  • Monitoring engineering deliverables
  • Managing risks in the risk management tool
  • Communicating with engineers from various functions
  • General support to the rest of the engineering team
  • document work and participate in project & system level technical discussions when required


Qualifications:

Interested candidates should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Engineering Physics, or Computer Engineering and/or Applied Mathematics or Physics with three (3) years completed. 

  • Students must be enrolled in their university’s formal internship program
  • Please include your transcript as part of your application
  • Enrollment in a management option (minor) will be considered an asset
  • The student should possess strong mathematical skills and experience in system design and modelling
  • A strong ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as a member of a team is required
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills are essential to this position

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).

The compensation range for this position is $24 - $27 hourly. The specific compensation offered will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
