e-GEOS is a leading international player in the Earth Observation (EO) and Geo-Spatial Information business.
We are looking for a Technical Manager to join our Digital Transformation team and drive the successful delivery of software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our internal stakeholders. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring clear communication and accountability throughout the software development lifecycle.
You will coordinate internal requirements gathering, manage relationships with external vendors, and oversee the technical validation and acceptance of delivered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle: from requirements analysis to solution validation and final delivery.
- Gather and formalize functional and technical requirements in collaboration with business units.
- Review and validate proposed technical solutions from vendors, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) activities with internal clients.
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Perform code reviews and support technical evaluations when needed.
- Coordinate resolution of technical issues during development and deployment phases.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- Masterβs degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1β3 years of experience in IT project management, software development, or technical coordination roles.
- Technical background with the ability to read, write, or review code/scripts (e.g. Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project methodologies.
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work with both business and technical teams.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have
- Experience with system integration projects or multi-vendor environments.
- Knowledge of API/microservices architectures (Swagger/Open API), Docker/Kubernetes
- Exposure to cloud platforms (especially AWS) or Salesforce ecosystems
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, or similar
- Geospatial libraries knowledge is a plus
