This position is located at one of the division's sites in: Roy, UT; Manhattan Beach, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; and Huntsville, AL, and supports the Strategic Deterrent Systems Engineering Homeroom's personnel planning and fulfilment initiatives / projects supporting the 3,500+ person technical organization.

What You’ll Get To Do:
The selected candidate will be the primary interface and team lead for engineering staffing demand, operations, and fulfillment.
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
Lead and be the manager of a diverse and high-performing team
Creating a strategic vision for division staffing and translating it to tactical action
Provides horizontal integration across the Division and Program teams related to staffing demand and fulfillment
Drive strategy and oversee daily staffing operations in collaboration with senior leaders and directorates, and perform stakeholder management for all things staffing--demand forecasting, fulfillment processes, and training of process stakeholders
Improve current processes and optimize organizational staffing procedures for efficiency and productivity
Develop and deliver high level briefings to business Leadership
Provide solutions to complex problems that are consistent with the organization’s objectives
Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization
Navigate ambiguity and develop a systemic approach and strategy to address and solve problems
Build relationships and effectively listen and communicate to influence, and ensure accountability across a network of stakeholders
Coordinating with the Division Homeroom and Programs, for identifying needs and coordination on task closure.
Preparing charts, briefings and metrics as needed to provide the Division with visualization material necessary to understand the health of the organization.
Acting with a sense of urgency and accountability; taking ownership of tasks and strategic direction
Updating project database information with multiple input sources

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Job Qualifications:
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of related experience, Master's Degree and 6 years of experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Minimum of 3 years in a formal leadership/management position
1 years' experience with hiring processes--demand forecasting, resume screening, interviewing, candidate selection, and fulfillment
1 year's experience with creating and driving strategy for an organization
At least 3 year's experience leading projects and/or driving performance against schedule
Experience with process improvement and drive cadence of the team’s execution
Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
3+ years leading a team, including mentoring and coaching
Current and active Secret security clearance or higher
Master's in Business or technical field
Experience with schedule management, risk management and performance management
Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
Depth and breadth of experience with defense products and services, including understanding of DoD weapons programs.
Detailed and team oriented with demonstrated leadership and organization skills.
Experience in collaborating across organizations to bring forward a consolidated objective and measure performance.
Experience in leading through a program or project start-up and effectively rolling out and managing change.
Proficient in Jira, Confluence, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
At least 1 year experience with Agile processes

Salary Range: $133,400.00 - $231,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
