Your Role 

 

The Financial Controller is responsible for the management of Northrop Grumman Australia’s financial and accounting operations, ensuring financial information is timely, accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant accounting and taxation legislation, as well as overarching internal Northrop Grumman principles. 

 

You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, business advice and expert guidance on all areas of financial management within NGA. The position supports and closely partners with the Director, Business Management NGA and drives the best outcomes for the portfolio of programs within NGA.  

 

The Financial Controller NGA is a member of the Business Management Leadership team, with a primary focus on accurate, predictable reporting (internal & external), financial and statutory accounting, payroll, transactional services, treasury, insurance and taxation. 

 

About You 

 

You will be a highly experienced Financial Controller or CFO, with a comprehensive understanding of Australian and International Financial and Accounting principles and standards, including demonstrated experience with internal and external audit processes and procedures. 

 

You will be a strong, collaborative leader with a demonstrated ability to get the best out of your team.  You will be an excellent relationship builder and problem solver, able to encourage and develop creative solutions to complex challenges, whilst ensuring compliance to policy and procedure.
