Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00pm, Evening & Weekend vibe tests as needed

The Environmental Test Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and directing the environmental testing of products, with a focus on vehicle vibration, thermal, and TVAC testing. This role will lead a team of technicians during campaigns, ensuring that tests are conducted accurately, efficiently, and safely. The coordinator will collaborate closely with the engineering department to develop and refine testing methods ensuring that all testing is conducted in a safe manner, adhering to company and regulatory guidelines.  The coordinator will work with facilities to ensure needed building and maintenance improvements are made. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee space vehicle vibration, thermal, and vacuum testing processes and coordination.
  • Ensure that tests are conducted in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain the testing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians.
  • Conduct regular training needs for environmental testing
  • Provide feedback to Production Supervisors for performance reviews of technicians
  • Ensure that the team adheres to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Work closely with the engineering departments to develop, refine, and implement environmental testing methods
  • Work closely with facilities to ensure needed building and maintenance improvements are made
  • Provide feedback and insights from testing to the engineering team to refine the processes.
  • Ensure accurate data collection during all testing phases.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and report any anomalies or issues that arise during testing.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in environmental testing.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the testing processes and methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, OR -Minimum of 3 years' experience in environmental testing, with a focus on vehicle vibration, thermal, and TVAC testing.
  • Proven experience operating, maintaining, writing process/training for test equipment.
  • Proven experience in team leadership or coordination roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
