We are looking for an experienced Program Integrated Master Scheduler in Houston, TX. This self-motivated team member will be responsible for co-developing, maintaining, and managing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across all facets of the program(s), ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in a fast-paced agile environment. The IMS serves as the primary tool for coordinating and tracking program milestones, product deliverables, and dependencies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and manage integrated master schedules (IMS) that align with program objectives, technical milestones, and contractual commitments

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, mission operations, supply chain, and program management, to define project scope, key deliverables, and realistic timelines

  • Coordinate with product owners and functional leads to ensure accurate planning of work breakdown structures (WBS) and resource allocations across all phases of the program lifecycle

  • Monitor and communicate project progress, status, critical path changes, and schedule risks to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership and customer representatives

  • Provide proactive identification, analysis, and mitigation of schedule risks and conflicts; ensure timely resolution of schedule issues that could impact program deliverables

  • Integrate engineering development lifecycles into the master schedule; support teams in translating concept designs into hardware/software deliveries, including testing, qualification, and certification activities

  • Implement and maintain scheduling best practices using industry-standard tools (e.g., Microsoft Project (preferred), Jira (proficient) Primavera, Open Plan) and techniques that align with agile project management methodologies

  • Ensure compliance with aerospace program standards and government or customer-specific scheduling requirements

  • Facilitate schedule-related reviews such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), Program Management Reviews (PMR), and Risk and Opportunity boards

  • Support configuration management and schedule change control processes to ensure traceability and impact assessments of any changes to scope or timeline

  • Engage with subcontractors, suppliers, and integration partners to incorporate external schedules and dependencies into the master plan

  • Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails for schedule updates and decision rationales in support of program transparency and contractual obligations

  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including ad hoc reporting, data analysis, or participation in continuous improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, business, project management, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in program scheduling, project management, or related roles, with a strong focus on integrated master scheduling (IMS)

  • Experience in managing very large, complex programs or projects with multiple workstreams and dependencies

  • Experienced working in an agile environment and how that translates to effective scheduling

  • Expertise in scheduling software such as Structures for Jira (preferred), Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools

  • Advanced reporting experience, with the ability to create custom reports, dashboards (Power BI), and schedule analysis tools

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task

Requirements 

  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation

  • Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position

Physical Requirements

  • Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time)

  • May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time)
