Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.
Your Role
This role is responsible for supporting the development, review, and maintenance of the Aircraft Maintenance Program using systems such as CAMM2, in alignment with DASR M CAM Services.
Conduct independent reviews and validation of E&TS documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
Plan and execute engineering tasks with minimal supervision, exercising independent professional judgment
Provide technical input to maintain aircraft fleet configurations and associated technical documentation
Liaise with internal E&TS representatives regarding matters of airworthiness, safety, and maintenance
Manage delegated engineering tasks within the E&TS workflow and monitor progress against program goals
Deliver technical advice to support customer obligations and contractual deliverables
Maintain awareness and compliance with applicable DASR Regulations and NGA policies
Assist in the formulation of continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance planning
About You
• Trade qualified Aircraft Engineer in Mechanical, Structures or Avionics disciplines (Defence)
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a trade-qualified Aircraft Engineer in the aviation industry
• Demonstrated technical experience in the aviation sector, including support to AMP or CAM services
• Proven ability to perform engineering tasks with limited direction and to exercise sound professional judgment
• Eligibility to obtain or currently hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance
