This position will sit in our electronics manufacturing facility in Cedar Park, Texas then transition to sit at our our Rocket Ranch in Briggs, Texas.

SUMMARY

The Calibration and Maintenance Coordinator will coordinate and oversee calibration activities and some maintenance technical service activities, as needed, as well as coordinating calibration schedules. Expectations include parts planning and ordering, calibration scheduling, identifying resource needs to keep activities on time. The Calibration and Maintenance Coordinator must build a high level of trust with the end users/stakeholders and provide customer service as the liaison between Equipment Maintenance and the end users/stakeholders for calibration and maintenance tasks scheduled.

The Calibration and Maintenance Coordinator is expected to source and coordinate third-party calibrations and be able to discuss calibration and maintenance principles/procedures with internal stakeholders in an advisory role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain calibration and maintenance asset inventories using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Schedule PM activities in coordination with various Maintenance Technicians from multiple departments
  • Source and coordinate with 3rd party calibration and maintenance contractors
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration and maintenance records including test results, procedures, and certifications
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors regarding calibration and maintenance events
  • Assist in the purchasing and maintenance of equipment, parts, and consumables
  • Perform in-house calibration activities on defined tools and equipment as needed
  • Provide technical support and guidance on calibration procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Minimum of five (5) years in calibration and maintenance event coordination
  • Experience performing calibration activities on tools and equipment
  • Thorough understanding of calibration concepts and requirements including accuracy testing, traceability, and substitution of standards in a regulated environment
  • Work with multiple deadlines and departments for coordination of work and standards in use
  • Independent thinking skills, able to problem solve based on compliance and regulatory needs
  • Effective interpersonal skills required to successfully interact with cross functional teams
  • Must be highly flexible and adjust to rapidly changing priorities
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time
  • Ability to handle conflicts or challenging situations confidently

Desired

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment and a general knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Experience with CMMS (Maintenance Connection, Blue Mountain, Maximo, etc.)
  • Military experience a plus
