Job Summary:

We have a current opportunity for a Strategy & Operations Associate located at our facility in Chantilly, VA and will be considered hybrid, offering some flexibility of split time in the office and remote work from home. (Typically, 3 to 4 days a week on site). In this role you will support business operations and strategy initiatives by gathering and analyzing operational data, conducting market research, and assisting in process improvement efforts. This role will contribute to the development of insights that inform decision-making and help improve efficiency across various functions. Working under the guidance of leadership, the associate will provide research, reporting, and recommendations to support Redwire’s strategic and operational goals.

Responsibilities:

Assist in analyzing business operations to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Conduct market and industry research using internal and external sources to support strategy and business development efforts.
Support internal teams by providing research and data-driven insights on corporate strategy, operations, and business performance.
Prepare reports, presentations, and models (e.g., market trends, financial forecasts) to summarize key findings.
Contribute to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track business performance.
Collaborate with leadership to support strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
Assist in monitoring company operations and recommending adjustments to improve efficiency.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, technologies, and market developments relevant to company operations.
Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and strategic objectives.

Ideal Experience:

0-2 years of experience in business operations, strategy, research, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience conducting market research and compiling findings into reports or presentations.
Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other analytical tools. For example, familiarity with basic Power BI and programming is a plus.

Desired Skills:

Prior Academic Intern/Co-Op or professional experience in business operations, strategy, or other adjacent fields (e.g., applicable engineering disciplines, management consulting) is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Experience in government contracting, aerospace, or technology industries.
Understanding of business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-government (B2G) environments.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platform.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within teams
