Basic Function:

Performs standard entry level electrical engineering tasks and activities under the direction of engineering personnel.

Pay Range:

$25-$32/hour

Dates:

This is a summer internship position, with expected dates of performance approximately May 27 – September 12, 2025.   

Job Summary:

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will support the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and printed circuit boards (PCBs). You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to projects throughout the product development lifecycle. This is a great opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge and gain practical experience with industry tools, especially Altium Designer.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer
  • Perform bench-level testing and debugging of prototype circuits
  • Help develop and update Bill of Materials (BOMs), schematics, and layout files
  • Maintain organized project files and engineering documentation


Other:

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
