Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC30-A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise. 

Your Role

As the Senior Security Lead for KC-30A, you will manage the Operational Security obligations for the KC-30A program. Based a Springfield Lakes, you will be responsible for Physical, Information and Personnel security along with supporting the management of NGA Facilities at RAAF Base Amberley, Springfield Lakes. You will also have accountabilities for:

• Managing security hardware, systems operation and maintenance to ensure it is fit for purpose
• Security planning, risk assessment and management
• Establish and maintain systems for reporting within NGA, the Australian Government and DoD as required by Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership
• Liaise with Defence contracted maintenance provider regarding building/hanger maintenance
• Ensure Facilities Operations includes planning and implementation to meet Security and EHS requirement

About You

As an experienced Security Officer, you have a deep understanding of fast moving and agile operations, the requirements around meeting the business operation needs and be able to work autonomously and flexibly to meet the needs. You will also have:

• Knowledge of DISP membership requirements for high security sites and programs.
• Understanding of operating within a complex legal and policy environment
• Experience in Delivering security services and implementing maturity improvement
