Mission:
As an Analogue Electronics Engineering Role within Thales, you will:

• Oversee technical engineering projects, in close collaboration with all the stakeholders.
• Be responsible for the design and sizing of the products fallen to you, ensuring that the development and validity of theirs are compliant with the whole architecture of the solution and the established business rules, through the following steps:
• Analyse and write the technical specifications of the electronic sub-assemblies boards.
• Participate in the definition of the architecture and the proper allocation of the functions, then manage the choice of the solution.
• Carry out the detailed design of products.
• Participate in design and industrialisation reviews in order to control the developments.
• Take in charge the analysis and correction of defects that have been identified during the various phases of development.
• Contribute actively to the integration and validation phases.
• Organise the co-engineering in your business with the different specialties.
• Implement the logic of subcontracting in your business and ensure the management and monitoring.
• Ensure technical support missions during the bid or product development phases, whether at our customers and/or suppliers, internally or externally.
• Provide technical support to the Project Manager for the monitoring of costs, development schedules and associated technical reporting.

Education & Qualifications:

• You graduated with a Master of Engineering, preferably Electronics with firm background Analogue design.
• You think of yourself as a true team-player, though you also demonstrate a high level of autonomy.
• You are very rigorous and analytical, examining logically the steps taken and the outcome to make corrections and produce better results.
• You have a proactive “can-do” mentality and prove to be decision oriented.
• You want to delight the customer with effective and compliant solutions.

Competencies:

• You have a strong knowledge of Analogue Electronics norms, laws and standards.
• You are highly familiar with a range of related tools, methods and processes, from the design specification, testing and validation phase to qualification and entry into service.
• You have great problem-solving and decision-making skills, which makes you able to approach complex issues with curiosity and determination.
• You are able to use your organisational skills to plan, prioritise workloads, achieve a balanced budget and meet the deadlines, with a clear vision of risks and opportunities.
