Northrop Grumman is seeking a Digital Engineer (Level 3 or Level 4) to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Identify the right digital engineering processes and tools to use to solve our customers challenges
- Implement digital engineering processes, such as MBSE, Performance Modeling and Simulation, and integration of MBSE with Simulations
- Consult with teams and engineers, including direct participation in working sessions, to provide guidance, and help them work through challenges related to digital engineering
- Some engineers are new to Digital Engineering, and you’ll help them get up to speed and become effective practitioners
- Help our customers understand the value of digital engineering, how it works, and make it more accessible to them
- Ensure we’re employing Digital Engineering properly to meet customer requirements, e.g. major milestone meetings and CDRL deliveries
Basic Qualifications
- Level 3/Principal: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of systems engineering experience; or 3 years’ experience with a Master’s degree; or 1 year with PhD
- Level 4/Senior Principal: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of systems engineering experience; or 6 years’ experience with a Master’s degree; or 4 years with PhD
- Active Secret clearance at time of application
- Familiarity with MBSE Modeling (Cameo Enterprise Architecture)
- Familiarity with DODAF architecture views and diagram creation
- Familiarity with MPLM tools (Teamcenter)
- Experience working with cross-functional integrated product teams
- Expertise with MS Office tool suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ANSYS modeling and simulation of satellite objects
- Familiarity with scaled compute cluster development, hypervisors, and network engineering
- Familiarity with Radar systems and operations
- Familiarity in Agile methodology (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
