Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking a Digital Products Section Head in Electronics Engineering to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This role will be based in Manhattan Beach, California.
The candidate will be responsible for leading a 12-15 person organization.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Digital Products Section including employee development & mentoring, performance management, personnel recruiting & retention, staffing, communications, technical support to programs and technology/business development efforts.
- Possess strong initiative, a demonstrated ability to multiplex in a dynamic environment, a responsive attitude and a proven ability to balance competing program and functional demands.
- Demonstrate the ability to create a collaborative, engaging working environment, and an ability to manage competing interests/priorities are highly desirable.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) related field and 8 years of experience
- 6 years of Electrical Engineering experience in digital engineering functional group
- 2 years of digital engineering leadership experience
- Experience in hardware design/development or production at slice or unit level
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DOD Top Secret and SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSEE Degree
- Master’s degree in a STEM related field
- Specific domain knowledge in the development of digital hardware, related tools and verification methodologies required
- Recognition as a digital hardware Subject Matter Expert
- Active, In scope DoD Secret and SCI clearance

Salary Range: $156,500.00 - $234,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
