We are looking to add a Business Development Operations Manager to our team. If you enjoy working in a startup environment and have a strong work ethic, we would like to hear from you.
 
In this position, you will work closely with CesiumAstro executives and engineers to support the business development process through market review, developing and maintaining business intelligence, coordinating key account management, and improving processes and procedures to streamline organizational performance. The successful candidate will also support proposal development and training of key processes to ensure organizational standardization. As such, excellent organizational skills, work ethic, and mastery of the business development process as well as written and verbal communication skills are required.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for developing and managing market intelligence to support corporate strategy, key pursuits, and development of proposal win themes.
  • Manages and maintains account strategy for key pursuits and key markets.
  • Supports, develops and manages teaming agreements and cooperative research and development agreements to further corporate strategic partnerships.
  • Supports process development, training, and policy alignment across business development functions.
  • Supports proposal development efforts to maximize probability of program capture. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 4+ years of experience working in business development/sales/ operations roles.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high bar for accuracy and detail.
  • Willingness to perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete important tasks.
  • Sense of urgency, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • The ability to work well in teams, with peers and management.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
