SUPERVISOR, STARLINK STORE
Starlink, our revolutionary satellite constellation, is delivering low-latency broadband internet around the world. The Starlink Enterprise Account Management team serves as the point of contact for Starlink’s growing base of enterprise customers from contract signature, through successful activation, ensuring all contract terms are fulfilled. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter that has a passion for making customers deliriously happy and connecting enterprises with Starlink.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, manage, and hire a team of five or more employees/contractors, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including opening, closing, staffing, and inventory management.
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize & scale store traffic, sales, and Starlink adoption.
- Ensure a best-in-class customer experience by providing in-depth knowledge of Starlink products and services.
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor store performance, optimize the customer journey, and drive conversion rates.
- Hire, train, and develop store employees, setting clear performance expectations and fostering growth opportunities.
- Implement and oversee operational procedures to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams (growth, sales, marketing, customer support, logistics, etc.) to optimize store performance & launch a store.
- Maintain accurate records of store metrics, customer feedback, and operational challenges, providing regular reports to leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of experience in retail management, store operations, or a related leadership role.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams of five or more employees.
- Demonstrated success in launching or managing retail stores, including operational setup, staffing, and customer experience design.
- Strong data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive improvements.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and engaging retail environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, science, engineering, or similar technical discipline
- Experience in technology, telecommunications, or consumer electronics retail.
- Background in sales or customer acquisition with a focus on data-driven performance optimization.
- Knowledge of Starlink services, satellite internet, or related technologies.
- Experience with CRM, POS systems, and retail analytics tools.
- Completion of a leadership or rotational development program
- Experience in training, learning and development, analytics, service design, vendor management, or content management roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Talking with others comes naturally, you derive satisfaction from resolving their issues, and you can distill complex concepts into the simplest explanations. You internalize customer concerns, solve them, and keep it positive
- Strong attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills. You take pride in your craft
- Technical aptitude - experience with networking, hardware troubleshooting, software development, etc.
- Experience working with software and staffing vendors
- Experience with reporting tools (Advanced Excel, SQL, dashboarding/reporting/visualization platforms)
ADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS:
- Willingness to work extended hours and non-scheduled days when needed to meet critical deadlines
- The employee may be based in Hawthorne, Los Angeles for the first few months of the role before moving full-time to Las Vegas, Nevada
