Position Purpose: The Recruiting Coordinator II will be responsible for supporting the entire hiring process, from reviewing applications to facilitating onboarding for new hires. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage pre-employment screenings, maintain confidential documentation, and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process while fostering an inclusive experience for all candidates and employees.

Title: Sr. Recruiting Coordinator II

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $25.00-$43.50 per hour

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Location: Hybrid - Lafayette, CO

Job Responsibilities: 

·       Coordinate scheduling of all requested initial phone screens and onsite/Zoom interviews

·       Coordinate and manage all aspects of pre-employment background checks, including criminal history, employment verification, and education verification

·       Conduct post-offer onboarding, including hiring candidate in HRIS, providing required new hire packet and COI, and running background check ensuring compliance with company policies

·       Maintaining job descriptions by requesting updated and conducting audits when needed

·       Support Recruiting Manager on monthly reporting requirements

·       Maintain updated and clean tracking documents & spreadsheets such as: New Hire Running List, Recruiting Tracker, and Alumni tracking spreadsheet

·       Assist with building and maintaining accurate process documents across the department

·       Distribute New Hire Running List weekly via email to approved distribution list

·       Manage new employee onboarding with strong attention to detail, including New Hire Orientation, HRIS management, manager communication, new hire check-ins, benefits enrollment follow-up, etc.

·       Update and maintain accurate orientation & other new hire information, including benefits information, HRIS instructions, required policy information & signature requests, other new hire information as needed

·       Perform employee offboarding by providing termination information to employee, scheduling and documenting employee exit interviews; engage with leadership on exiting employee feedback.

·       Assist recruiters by collecting interview notes from hiring teams and adding them into Bamboo

·       Disposition active candidates as directed based on recruiting or hiring manager notes

·       Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications

·       Respond to candidate inquiries in a timely, professional, and friendly manner

·       Utilize Bamboo to send out all post-interview survey emails to candidates

·       May represent company at local and national career fairs including college, military, diversity, and clearance events

·       Support Internship program as needed

·       Conduct initial prescreening interviews and assessments to ensure candidates meet basic qualifications and organizational fit

·       Post approved job requisitions on BCT HRIS/ATS & other externals sites as needed

·       Research and gather data on new recruitment resources, such as job fairs, websites and organizations and tracks sources for successful recruitment

·       Review job applications and resumes to assess candidate qualifications based on job requirements

·       Support HR team on special projects as needed

·       Other responsibilities as assigned

 

Required Qualifications/Education:

·       Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred

·       Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education

·       1-3 year of prior HR/Recruiting experience

·       Keen attention to detail, highly organized, excellent time management required

·       Self-starter, resourceful and adaptable mindset

·       Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking

·       Basic knowledge of Excel formulas for data auditing

·       Strong & effective written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent listening and reading comprehension

·       Strong awareness of confidentiality, sensitivity, and neutrality

·       Knowledge of all applicable employment-related laws, regulations, and procedures preferred

·       Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides evidence that the applicant possesses the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions

 

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.  BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted. However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require BCT to shorten or extend the application window.
