Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support one of our primary programs working with the U.S. Government to understand and define requirements for our software staff. In this position, you will be at the forefront of developing the systems that keep our nation safe and work in space emerging technology. This position will work with our team on adapting our architecture to the program requirements, creating a testing approach, and interacting across our program teams to ensure clear understanding during the software development cycle.

The team is primarily based in Ypsilanti, MI with qualified applicants in Ypsilanti, MI and Herndon, VA encouraged to apply. This position requires an active Top-Secret SCI with CI Poly Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Work with customers to improve their architecture and engineering workflows and processes with the identification or design of processes and tools
• Responsible for articulating and capturing the architecture, system requirements, system design, and testing approach
• Investigate and capture "As Is" architecture or workflows; identify "To Be" states; and make recommendation on transition from "As Is" to "To Be"
• Develop standard and repeatable processes, as appropriate, to support architecture, engineering, development, and integration.
• Support engineering review boards

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree and above
• 15+ years of experience
• Synthetic Aperture Radar knowledge
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly Security Clearance

• Program Management
• Systems Engineering
• Digital Signal Processing
