Mission:

• Record all financial transactions of the company in the accounting books. This includes the entry of invoices, payment vouchers, bank transactions and any other relevant financial event. Maintaining an orderly and accurate record is crucial for the generation of reliable financial reports and for complying with tax obligations.
• Rigorous control and reconciliation of accounts to detect possible errors or irregularities.
• Collaborate in the preparation of financial statements.
• Collaborate in compliance with the company's tax obligations.
• Adapt to regulatory changes. Stay up to date and adjust the recording and reporting processes accordingly.
• Coordinate tasks for month-end closing.
• Assist with other department tasks as needed.
• Comply with internal financial controls.
• Recommend, develop, and implement changes to accounting procedures and internal controls to improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare information to support internal/external audits as needed.
• Assist with maintenance of chart of accounts as needed (local and corporate).

Education & Qualifications:

• 4 year of prior experience.
• Good knowledge of Spanish accounting standards.
• Degree in Administration and Finance.
• English: intermediate and French: knowledge will be valued.
• Exceptional Offcie skills, with emphasis on Excel and other financial software.
• Ability to be flexible and able to work in a team.
• Effective communication skills to interact professionally with all levels of the organization and with external contacts.
• Organized and disciplined to ensure compliance with procedures, but with enough confidence to propose simplifications and improved efficiencies.
• Flexibility to take on additional projects and adapt to changing priorities.
