Senior Audio Visual Engineer

Our small- to medium-lift launch vehicles, lunar landers, and orbital vehicles allow us to service the entire lifecycle of government and commercial missions from low Earth orbit to the Moon and beyond. We utilize carbon composite structures, patented propulsion technologies, and common components across our vehicles to iterate quickly, improve reliability, and deliver payloads at a lower cost. This is an onsite position based at our headquarters in Cedar Park, TX. No remote options.

SUMMARY

We are a growing company that requires the ability to meet in-person and virtually in conference rooms, training rooms, and breakout spaces, across multiple sites, in a standardized and streamlined manner. The AV Engineer will be responsible for setting the design, implementation, and maintenance of these spaces. Additional duties would include AV related technology in C-Suite offices and breakout spaces as well as supporting external events. Potential to branch into other basic network related support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Audio Visual Engineering:

• Design, install, and maintain audio visual systems to support videoconferencing requirements
• Develop support documentation for local and remote site support staff
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues promptly to ensure smooth operation during meetings
• Train users on the proper use of AV systems and provide ongoing support as needed.
• Support audio visual needs for internal and external company events

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• 10+ years relevant work experience as a dedicated AV Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, sound systems, and control panels.
• Experience in Zoom and Teams meeting platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of cabling

Desired

• Knowledge of OBS, or other Live Stream technology
• Associate degree or higher in an AV related field
• Knowledge in management of digital signage system
