Marketing&Sales Rep Mgr (Sales/Capture Team)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join the Global Sales & Marketing (GS&M) Space Capture team in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and mid-level managers planning, developing and managing sales and marketing campaigns
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 10+ years of experience working with the US Department of Defense (DoD)
  • 10+ years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry
  • 5+ years of leadership or project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in capture\proposal management (to include Cost Estimation, Pricing, Proposal Planning and Execution)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Existing special program access clearance(s)
  • 3+ years of experience working with external customers in decision-making positions
  • 3+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • 3+ years of experience developing\managing Cost Basis of Estimates (BOE’s) to include Bill of Materials and Labor for space products
  • 3+ years of experience developing tailored space products to include new business strategies for space products

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25-50% of the time.

Summary Pay range: $216,900 - $265,100
