Head of Group Treasury & Risk (m/f/d)

The main purpose of the role is to oversee and manage the company’s treasury functions, ensuring effective cash flow management, developing and implementing financing and investment strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role also involves liaising with various stakeholders and managing strategic projects related to treasury and risk. Reporting to the VP of Financial Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Flow Management

• Ensure effective cash flow management.
• Provide accurate and timely cash flow forecasts.

Financing & Investment Strategies

• Develop and implement efficient financing and investment strategies.
• Align strategies with company objectives and stakeholder needs.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies.

Customer Interaction & Support

• Liaise with executive management, board members, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Proactive vs. reactive problem identification and resolution.

Strategic Projects & Reporting

• Manage special projects related to treasury and risk.
• Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders.

KPIs

• Accuracy and timeliness of cash flow forecasts.
• Efficiency of financing and investment strategies.
• Compliance with financial regulations.
• Proactive problem identification and resolution.
• Customer satisfaction.

Capabilities

• Extensive experience in treasury and financial risk management (≥15 years).
• Strong leadership, communication, and integrative skills.
• Proactive and customer-centric approach.
• Ability to balance strategic and detailed orientations.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Fluent in English and German; proficiency in French is a plus.
• Physical presence required at our headquarters in Ottobrunn, with the possibility of remote work one day per week.
