We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and efficient operation of our facilities. This role combines custodial responsibilities with light maintenance tasks, contributing to a welcoming and functional environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Maintenance:

• Conduct basic repairs and maintenance, such as light carpentry, locksmithing, electrical, fixing minor plumbing issues, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting or addressing general wear and tear.
• Monitor HVAC, lighting, and security systems to ensure proper operation.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down furniture or equipment for meetings, events, or office reconfigurations.
• Report any larger maintenance or safety concerns to the Facilities Manager.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• General Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety policies.
• Maintain records of maintenance and cleaning schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with staff and visitors.
• Understand the importance of aesthetics and the need to present a professional and clean property.
• Support special projects or tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Custodial Duties:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of floors, carpets, and surfaces.
• Sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure areas are clean and presentable.
• Dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
• Respond promptly to spills, stains, or other cleanliness issues as needed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen or US Person
• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• 2+ years day porter/custodial/general maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of repair techniques (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Working knowledge of industry cleaning standards, basic tools, ladder use and safe practices
• Physical able to lift 40 pounds, bend, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualification:

• Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance.
• First Aid/AED/CPR trained.
• Knowledge of Building Emergency Action Plans

Work Environment:

• This position involves working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
• Exposure to cleaning agents, tools, and equipment is common.
• May be requested to work hours outside of normal operations as needed for emergencies and specific tasks that could be disruptive to business operations.

● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $17.63 - $29.38 hourly.
