Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

The IT Helpdesk Technician will support end-users with ticket requests, assist with ongoing projects as well as implementation of process documentation. This is an onsite role in our Austin, TX office.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers; Assist in resolving computer hardware and software issues.
  • Manage ticket Queue through JIRA and resolve or escalate tickets to Tier II/Tier III support as needed
  • Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, printers, phones, security updates, support internet.
  • Administer and support core Microsoft, Intune, and virtual technologies.
  • Define and document best practices and support procedures.
  • Provide limited after-hours and weekend operations support for emergencies
  • Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
  • Carry out special tasks at Management's direction.
  • Support mobile devices (iPhone).
  • On site role at Austin, Tx office
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop Operating Systems
  • Microsoft A+, Net+ or similar certification
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
  • Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
  • Must be a team player
 
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associates degree in computer science (or related area) preferred
  • Experience in JIRA Service Management
  • Active Directory/SAML user and group administration
  • Experience with and understanding of Intune
