Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer - Test Lead to support our Boulder, CO site.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Selected candidate should have experience in or ability to test RF Ground equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Masters; or 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active Top Secret security clearance at time of application
- Experience working with Linux computing systems
- Knowledge of RF signal flow
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.S. degree in a technical discipline
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Security+ Certification
- Knowledge and experience with the SBIRS Mission Processing Platform
- Experience working with Unix/Linux, C++, and Perl
