We are looking for a skilled Service and Maintenance Engineer to manage and maintain the key production equipment used in optics manufacturing. This role will focus on ensuring smooth operations of CNC milling, Diamond Turning, MRF polishing, Gold Coating, AIT equipment, and other precision tools and calibration systems. In addition, the role will support essential safety practices and basic facility management where required.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Technical Support:
  • Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance for production machinery, including:
    • CNC Milling Machines
    • Diamond Turning Machines
    • MRF Polishing Systems
    • Gold Coating Equipment
    • AIT Equipment and other specialized tools for optics production
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Oversee the calibration of precision equipment and ensure compliance with production standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or servicing when required.
Safety and Facility Support:
  • Conduct regular equipment safety checks and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Support production teams in maintaining safe working conditions around high-precision equipment.
  • Assist in managing basic facility needs related to production operations.

What you bring with you

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in maintaining high-precision manufacturing equipment, particularly in optics or similar industries.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with calibration processes and standards for optical equipment.
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with CNC, Diamond Turning, or MRF Polishing machines.
  • Knowledge of calibration tools and processes for high-precision manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with equipment safety standards.
