Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC30-A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise.
As Associate project finance analyst, you will get to be a part of NGA’s largest program, supporting the financial planning and analysis for our contract with the RAAF. There is lots of opportunity to grow professionally both within the role and the broader organisation.
Your Role
You will be working within the Business Management team to support the delivery of financial advisory and support services. The role entails:
General ledger reconciliations, journal preparations and data consolidation, assisting with monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
Day-to-day management of P&L transactions and account creations.
Support and prepare initial financial modelling for various scenarios, to understand the impact to both the program and the organisation.
Assist with resource planning, tracking, and reporting.
Assist other team members and provide backup support as and when required.
About You
1 year experience in a direct finance position, with degree qualifications in accounting or finance.
Intermediate excel skills, with the ability to use Pivot tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP etc.,
Journals and basic transaction abilities
The ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders to gather information, with confidence in asking questions and articulating requirements.
A High attention to details and self-motivated to deliver quality outcomes on strict deadlines.
