Description
Reusable systems with frequent launch cadence are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. Highly operable, reliable, and robust ground systems are an integral part of a fully reusable launch system. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating local, state, and federal government relationships, in direct support of our dedicated launch complex at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. You will serve as the primary interface with our government partners for new development and construction as well as ground test operations and orbital launch campaigns. As part of a small, well-supported team, you will have access to the resources you need to get the job done right while simultaneously boosting your skills at a pace that can’t be matched in most other roles. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.
Responsibilities
- Develop government relationships and coordinate with local, state, and federal government entities, including SLD 45, SLD 30, NASA, FAA, Coast Guard and supporting organizations
- Manage launch vehicle stage testing, launch operations, and booster recovery operations with Range and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage reviews, approvals, and permitting for design, new construction, CONOPS, and hazardous operations
- Manage Range documentation, reviews, & submittals, including SSCMAN 91-710 required documentation
- Support FAA Part 450 licensing
- Develop launch and recovery real property strategy
- Coordinate with multiple departments and disciplines, internal and external, to ensure Stoke’s launch & recovery systems are ready to receive, process, integrate, and operate at high cadence
- Continuously improve or eliminate processes to enable high-cadence launch and recovery operations
- Provide on-console support for day-of test, launch, and recovery operations
- Manage emergency response and anomaly investigations with government partners
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a related role performing range coordination, range operations, launch vehicle processing, and/or ground operations within a launch or aerospace program or similar high-performance application (oil & gas, heavy equipment, energy systems, etc.)
Familiarity with AFSPCMAN 91-710 range requirements as well as DoD explosive siting for launch vehicle programs - Experience interfacing directly with SLD 45, SLD 30, KSC, or other similar government organizations

Compensation
Target Levels:
- Level 3 range: $124,400 - $186,500
- Level 4 range: $155,500 - $232,300
