The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Lead - Contract Management Representative to join our team at Kennedy Space Center, FL supporting Boeing’s Commercial Crew Program. Other potential work locations are Huntsville, AL and Houston, TX.

In this critical role, you will manage and oversee contract management activities related to the Boeing/NASA Commercial Crew contract. Your expertise will be essential in supporting NASA's mission and ensuring the successful execution of contracts that drive innovation and excellence in aerospace.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Interface regularly with leaders across the enterprise and external customers, providing contract interpretations and making firm commitments within established Delegation of Authority

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including NASA, industry prime customers, subcontractors, and various government agencies, while facilitating prompt payment and supporting company financial goals

  • Craft innovative solutions to complex challenges that may serve as precedent for future decisions and lead the development of contractual and pricing strategies, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements

  • Provide contract guidance and recommendations to program and business management teams including strategy and risk management initiatives

  • Mentor junior Contract Management peers and operate with a professional level of discretion and autonomy

  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency, leadership, and commitment to safety, quality, and agility, while promoting honesty and candor

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience developing, negotiating and executing complex USG contracts and subcontracts under USG primes

  • 5+ years of experience working with Federal Acquisition Regulations and supplemental regulations

  • 5+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of contracting or related experience

  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed

  •  Ability to perform with a significant amount of autonomy and exercise good judgment in determining objectives and approaches to assignments

  • Ability to advise all levels of management on contractual rights and obligations, risk avoidance and mitigation, strategy, and problem solving

NASA Access:

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $ 121,550- $164,450
