Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join our Government Training Engineering team in support of Mobility, Surveillance, & Bombers programs in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  This role will focus on the test and verification activities for ground and training systems in support of E-3 AWACS, E-7 Wedgetail, B-52 Bomber, and KC-46 Tanker programs.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify system and subsystem requirements.
  • Works with team leads to develop system test plans and create requirement verification links to test procedures in DOORS and CAMEO.
  • Assists with development, testing, and updating of test procedures to support software, system, and acceptance testing.
  • Supports execution of Qualification Tests with and without external customer participation.
  • Creates and submits work orders and gathers evidence of compliance for requirement verification.
  • Works with multi-disciplinary team to track progress of system development and availability to support test activities.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
 

Required Education, Skills and Experience   

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or other technical field
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

  • 1+ years working on military aircraft platforms
  • 1+ years experience with software development and/or troubleshooting software
  • Knowledge of JIRA, GIT and other work management software
  • 2+ years of experience with automated testing

Summary pay range: $63,000 to $85,000
