The Supply Chain Program Operating Unit Director within our Strategic Space Systems Division will be responsible, accountable, and have the authority for the operational efficiency, strategy, planning, and execution of the Global Supply Chain organization to include capture activities. Responsible as the main focal point for the Operating Unit for the entire GSC functional homeroom, coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all GSC commitments are met and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks, issues, and/or opportunities related to GSC and the suppliers. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing the material strategy, and lead GSC activities for all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) for the portfolio of programs within the Operating Unit. Responsibilities:
Lead matrixed cross-functional organization of Global Supply Chain professionals to support business unit level requirements
Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all supply chain content for the Operating Unit
Manage supplier relationships and support negotiations for major subcontract and procurement suppliers
Coordinate planning, budget management, and execution of GSC content for the Operating Unit
Responsible for career development, performance management, building strong teams, leading change and solving complex problems
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years (8+ years with Master’s) of experience leading supply chain program execution and/or program management including strategy, planning, and execution of programs
Minimum 4 years of management experience with a proven record of leading multi-functional integrated product teams
Experience supporting large execution programs as well as new program pursuits
Experience in aerospace/defense industry
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearances
Masters of Business Administration/Supply Chain or related field
