What is the role?
To support the company's growth, we are looking for a Satellite Production Technician to join our global Space Systems team. As satellite production technician you will be working in the integration stage of the satellite build, making sure the final satellite assembly gets build and tested on time and according to defined test procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and integrate satellite components and subsystems with precision
- Conduct rigorous testing and quality control procedures over electronics systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities
- Collaborate closely with engineers and other technicians
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of hands-on work experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical knowledge
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in electronics or a related field
- Technical knowledge in Embedded systems
- Technical knowledge with RF technology
- User experience with Linux
- Technical knowledge in Python programming
- User experience with Jira
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with electronics systems, RF and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Experience using lab equipment, such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, VNA, etc.
- Soldering experience (ideally IPC certified)
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes such as: layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures/work instructions; schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with cleanroom protocols
- Familiarity with space systems or satellite technology
- Knowledge of quality management systems
- Proven experience in assembly, integration, and testing of complex systems, ideally in the space or aerospace industry, or in a tech/new space company with a manufacturing focus (precision manufacturing or high-volume production experience is a plus!).
- Hobbyist experience in relevant areas (electronics, programing, embedded systems, ham radio operator, etc) is also a strong asset.

- Base salary range for this position is 3000-3500€ per month (gross) contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually
