Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is looking for a Contract Management Manager based out of El Segundo, CA.

In this leadership position, you will mentor and develop a talented group of contract management professionals while building strong relationships with external customers and cross-functional Boeing teams. You’ll set strategic priorities and engage with senior leadership to drive success in our satellite business, leading the Contracts team supporting a portfolio of space and ground programs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Judgement and Problem Solving: Develops and implements complex and creative contractual solutions to manage risk and support the proposal, negotiation, and execution of programs

• People Leadership: Inspires and manages a team of employees engaged in contract management activities

• Functional Expertise: Implements impactful policies and procedures while setting ambitious operational goals; leads process improvements that drive success

• Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, cross-functional partners, and direct reports

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience working on government proposals, to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals

• 5+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts in programs with multiple customers and multiple contract types, such as: development contracts, satellite manufacturing/production contracts, Operations and Maintenance contracts, assignment agreements, nondisclosure agreements, purchase, and sale agreements

• Experience in Satellite or Space Programs

• Experience negotiating contractual terms and conditions

• Experience with Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 10+ years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating government contracts

• 5+ years of experience with commercial contracts

• 5+ years of experience with classified government contracts

• Masters of Business Administration

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $123,250 – $166,750
